How cashback is calculated
A common formula is eligible losses minus eligible wins and other credits during a daily or weekly window, multiplied by the cashback rate. Deposits are not automatically the calculation base.
Some offers cover slots only, while others exclude live casino, sports or specific providers.
What to verify
- Cashback rate, minimum loss and maximum payment.
- Calculation period and claim deadline.
- Whether the return is cash or a wagered bonus.
- Excluded games, payment methods and VIP tiers.
Cashback versus rakeback
Cashback usually responds to net losses. Rakeback returns part of the house edge or fees based on wagering volume, so it may accrue even during a winning period.
Neither makes long-term gambling profitable; both are loyalty mechanics with rules and limits.
Our verdict
Cashback is most transparent when it is paid automatically as withdrawable cash. Never increase stakes to reach a tier or minimum-loss threshold.
